Did you see the recent segment on WFMZ about the book that was checked out of the Emmaus High School library more than four decades ago and just returned last week? It’s a great story. Maybe it says something about the staying power of Bob Dylan (the book’s subject). And maybe it says something about the staying power of books compared to the new digital school materials (which may not be available next week much less forty years from now). And it certainly says something about this community, where someone will take the time and effort to bring a book back to our schools after so long.
